Directly serving the public, and indirectly via this and other Internet Sites, since 1999. We take the trouble so you won't receive any. From the "Heart of Cornwall". UK ONLY DUE TO WEIGHT. This Lot consists of a genuine Nikon 8X Super Zoom Cine Camera for Super 8 film. I am describing it as a 'Project' because I am unsure the meter is working, and because the lens has a few small minor blotches but is still perfectly usable for the less fussy. The lens is a Nikon Cine - Nikkor Zoom 1.8/75~60mm. The battery contacts for running the camera, and the battery contacts for the metering are clean and the functions are responsive. The camera runs well at all speeds, 24/18/12. The battery check is responsive and the 'T' Tele and 'W' Wide zoom switch works okay. The meter needle in the viewfinder can be set to any of the aperture settings on 'M' Manual but the needle stays still on 'A' Auto. However, the flag also stays up on Auto so I think it possible the camera needs to have a film cartridge inserted before the camera automatically sets the exposure system/sensitivity. Rubber eye-cup is perishing in places. Camera is Made in Japan. Externally the camera is in very nice condition and shows only light signs of use and wear. Pictures show the actual item.
