A Very Nice Vintage Shackleton Flatbed Platform Lorry in Blue/Red Welcome to our auction, for this vintage Shackleton Foden F.G. Flatbed Clockwork Lorry (see photos). The piece is in very nice condition complete with spare wheel and key as shown. The paintwork is in very good shape overall with only the odd paint chip to the wheel mudguards and chassis and nothing that the odd touch-in could not put right. The wind-up mechanism works well and the piece runs strong. All wheels rotate and look to be in very good condition though one of the front wheels has had a replacement fixing nut and is not the best fit so would recommend replacing. The lugs that hold the rear trailer behind the cab have broken at one end to the cab they are intact. The rear tow hook has had lugs replace that hold the trailer to the chassis bed. The steering and steering wheel are in good shape and operates the front wheels as it should and all tyres are in great shape. The front and rear suspension arms move freely. The lorry is approx. 13" long by 4" wide and sits just over 4" high. The piece is not boxed but will be boxed for safe and secure posting to you.
