Up for auction today is a vintage GE Oscillating desk fan!This fan is circa 1950's or early 1960's, and takes me back to watching old black and white detective movies with my mother - you see them on almost every gumshoe's desk.This fan has definitely been used quite a bit, and seems to have had a rough life, but the motor does work. The switch is missing, so the fan will turn on immediately when plugged in; and the fan will still oscillate as well.The cage is metal, the fan blades are metal; however, it feels like the base is plastic? or maybe a melamine material?Please take a look at the pictures before purchasing, and if you have any questions or would like any additional pictures taken please don't hesitate to ask :-)
