Title: The World Around Hampton Author: Archibald Rutledge Printed: 1960 - First Edition Description: Hardcover, bound in dark green fabric/paper. No rips, tears, or dog eared pages. No discoloration or stains. Beautiful black and white photo illustrations of the Hampton Plantation, cypress pools, moss laden oak, and other well known symbols of the south. Dust jacket is in good condition. Front corners show signs of wear, spine has a small torn area near the top, back has two small torn areas. No writing, tape, stains, or other defects noted. See pictures for detail. Loved this book. A great story, written 54 years ago, that takes you into the swamps and creeks of the Hampton Plantation before the Revolutionary War.
