On offer a complete WW2 German naval officers dagger! T is a coloured knot tied around the grip etc in a complicated manner. The white grip is with no cracks.The blade is in very good condition, with no sharpening, nicks or pitting. The etch has submarine, waterplane and anchors. The scabbard is a fine gold/brass colour with a litte bump on the end (watch picture). It is complete with a pair of naval hangers. T ARE NO BANNED SYMBOLS AND THIS IS BEING SOLD AS A COLLECTORS ITEM ONLY! Further pictures highlighting any specific detailing can be sent to interested collectors on request. As shown in the pictures the dagger is complete with gilded scabbard, attached portepee, hangers, The blade of the dagger has Massed Ship and anchor etching on both sides which is in excellent condition (see picture) and very ornate. It has not been sharpened and retains it's original tip intact. It is etched with the ORIGINAL Eickhorn Solingen crest. The blade shows little or no wear, The grip is free of any chips It has the correct brass wire wrap which is original and tight. The eagle pommel and other brass fittings are in very good condition with a light gilt frosting appearance with a slight age patina,Which you would expect from an original example.
