World War II NAVY Uniform I believe underwear, socks and shoes would make this a complete uniform. From the estate of a World War Two naval veteran, a nice looking and in excellent condition, navy uniform. The uniform is stamped with the veterans name. The sleeve insignia indicates the previous owner was a Petty Officer 3rd Class (PO3), well as a shipfitter (metalworker?), and, most importantly, he was a Seabee. The Seabee patch's large "google eyes" is supposed to be indicative of WWII; both patches are in excellent condition. The blue wool bell-bottom pants have an adjustable lacing in the back; the waist could be 30 or 31 inches, the inseam 30-1/4 inches. One of the small black composition buttons that secures the front flap is missing. The blue wool jumper or "top" has a 36 inch chest. From center of collar to end of sleeve cuff is 32 to 32-1/22 inches. A sewn label states "Manufactured by Naval Clothing Factory", with space for Name and Rate. I can find no rips, tears, or moth damage; this is a good looking issue uniform. The white shirt (top) has a 36 inch chest. The sleeve is 28 inches from center of collar to end of sleeve cuff. White pants waist is 29-1/2, with a 28-1/2 inch inseam. The uniform also includes a belt, neckerchief, and a cap. Acceptable payment: US Post Office Money Order or Bank Cashiers Check only.
