A letter dated December 6th 1915 (see nine pictures) consisting of seven pages sent from Richard Acland Armstrong to his parents in Manchester.Three of the pages have been censor clipped. Armstrong, volunteered for non - military service with the Friends' Ambulance Unit of the Red Cross. He served on the front line in France as an Ambulance/Support vehicle driver. I believe that later in the war he became a Lieutenant. This letter is one of a collection of circa 40, spanning the period November 1915 to October 1918, mostly written from the front.Within the collection are some related photographs, and a few later letters and photographs which I will be listing over the next few weeks. Original World War One letters are now quite scarce and they are highly collectable. This example is legible and in good condition. Post and packing discount on multiple purchases based on Royal Mail weight limits. Please wait for me to invoice you if you do make multiple purchases. All items are shipped in board backed envelopes and feedback is left after the buyer leaves theirs.
