Knife has a lanyard hole for quick retreival with a leather strap. Also blade is mirror polished. The knife is 5&1/4" closed and the blade is real tight and springy.Handles are colored wood walnut and were added later. The blades are authentic Wostenholm. Must see pictures for details. Thansk for looking. The blades of these knives were made and put into storage in the 80's by Jim Parker who had the license for IXL. He was reproducing them in Japan. He went thru bankruptcy and they have been in storage ever since. IXL Wostenholm started in England and one of the brothers came to USA and started the Schrade company. These are a nice part of knife history and a very good quality knife .Now a manufacturer has been found to complete the assembly . Nice quality handles and nickel silver bolsters with brass liners in the knives also.
