OLD BLOWN GLASS CHRISTMAS ORNAMENT Well, think this is the last of these wonderful and unusual vintage blown mercury glass ornaments in the shape of a large candelabra measuring 6" tall. Featuring a hollow, ribbed mercury glass stand with wide base, it supports three arms and is decorated with pretty bright pink glass candles. Amazingly, only the arms are attached - the whole center section including the middle candle is blown from one piece! Dating to the 1950s or early 1960s, ornament still retains original price tag of $2.49. In absolutely pristine condition with no chips, cracks, hairlines, or repairs - just a minute amount of mercury glass loss on the bottom edge as shown - it has never been used and is just wonderful! Graceful proportions and lightweight design - it would be dramatic hanging from an evergreen branch or other holiday display - it will stand independently and has a small metal ring for hanging. I always planned on decorating a whole tree in candelabra ornaments - obviously never got around to it! Just a striking and lovely figural - it would be a wonderful addition to any vintage Christmas tree collection! If questions please contact me - thanks and good luck!
