WOW1939 Fenton 10" Fr Opalescent Pitcher Spiral Optic Book value on the pitcher is $300.00 and up..if you can find them. Here is your only chance to win one of the most rare, and hard to find, 1939 spiral optic French opalescent pitcher that was made by Fenton. The Fenton number is 1353 and measure 9.5 to 10 inches tall depending on where you measure at the rim. The Pitcher is in excellent condition without any chips, cracks or visible stains or flaws. There are small bubbles in the glass which is common in the old blown glass. The french opalescent glass was first made by fenton in 1939 for one year. Then was reproduced in the later years. The fastest way to tell the difference is on the bottom where there is no Fenton logo in a circle. Pre 1970's fenton didn't mark their glassware. The big pitchers like this are so hard to find that it is likely this one will be the first, and probably the last, for a long time.. Can you imagine filling this with tea or lemonade?
