World War 2 Japanese 4X Scope for the Type 99 Sniper Rifle. Scope tube is marked NTC KOGAKU, Serial No.13321, Original black finish with small scattered rust spots in overall very nice condition. The manufacturers logo was impossible to photo due to it's small size and loss of finish in that spot from the scope case. I also attempted to photograph the cross hairs as viewed through the scope and the resulting photo looks as if the optics are foggy. The Optics are NOT fogged up and are clear other than small specks of dirt as is expected with 60yr old optics. Has original rubber eyecup and scope carrying case with complete shoulder strap assembly. No accessories in the case. Scope mount is marked to rifle No.2528 This Scope was accquired directly from a 77th Infantry Division vet along with other choice Japanese combat gear so watch for my upcomming auctions. Flag is NOT included in this auction. SHIPPING & Insurance....... Item sent Priority mail w/ tracking number and will be Insured for full value of winning bid.
