US Navy, supposedly World War Two vintage, Infrared Searchlight Viewing Device (scope). Takes regular D cell batteries. Powers up and appears to kinda work. Nice tag sez': TYPE US/C-3, Model MI-2558-A, Serial 12672, Manufactured for Navy Department- Bureau of Ships, By Contractor Radio Corporation of America, Contract NOBS20951. Tag is in excellent shape. Scope unit with strap is in excellent shape. Case with strap is a little dingy from sitting around 60 years with some tarnishing or minor rust on the metal hardware. Instruction sheet is inside of case lid and is legible but does have some tears in the paper. This is NOT a firearm, only a infrared scope unit. Item sold as is, NO RETURNS!
