Here is another scarce WW I flap holster for the M. 1911 .45 auto pistol. Mfg. by Hoyt Co., dated 1918 with "JJM" inspectors stamp. The holster shows light to moderate in-use wear/scuff, no seam splits or significant construction damage, perfectly functional and remains a pleasing dark brown color with what appears to be an original leather tie down lanyard. Finish does show some cracking at fold crease of flap and a scuffing of the leather that hold brass belt loop catch. Overall a beautiful WW i holster showing authentic and normal wear.
