is an extremely rare WW I era gadget that would make a super fine item for the hi-end wireless military radio collector. This is a BC 104 heterodyne oscillator. It was used to locate exact transmission/reception frequencies in early radio gear. The antenna hooks up to the input. The output goes to antenna terminals on radio receiver and the oscillator adds a calibrated signal. When the beat note becomes zeroed off, you can read the frequency on the oscillator dial. I have used this unit and it works just fine, using a 201A tube. It's very useful for beat noting weak signals, especially MLF and LF beacons. Condition is A+. Unit is 100% original, no mods, super great condition inside and out. We're offering this piece a very fair starting price with no reserve. I recently disassembled a complete WW I receiving station and this one of the remaining items. Shipping in Continental US should be less than $25.00 by FedEx or UPS. Satisfaction guaranteed. We know how to pack! See our other auctions for more cool stuff!Buyer's please note! Keep an eye on our auctions. We have recently acquired a large collection of pristine gray Collins S-line, Drake TR line ham gear, transmitters, receivers, transceivers, and accessories.
