Recently I bought a large military & knives collection from a local estate. Up for this auction is a bar of ribbons & medals which was among the belongings of a soldier, Officer Jackson, who fought in both WW II and Vietnam. The bar measures 3 1/8" long. The 6 medals are (from left to right in the photo) A cross; "N.S. Meyer Inc., New York" with a shield logo below on the back A flying eagle with thunderbolts in its claws; blank back "Asiatic Pacific Campaign" over 2 soldiers w/guns & a palm tree; an eagle with the dates "1941-1945, United States of America" on the back A symbolic lady of liberty with her foot on the world and the words "World War II"; United states of America 1941- 1945" encircling "Freedom from Fear and Want, Freedom of Speech & Religion" in the center on the back A perched eagle with "National Defense" across the top; a coat of arms with a half leaf wreath underneath 3 intercrossing bugles with stars around the rim; Armed Forces Reserve around the rim with an eagle in the center on the back A great addition to any military collection! Immediate shipment with payment by PayPal (required for foreign buyers) -- or send cashier's check, money order or personal check which should arrive within 10 days of auction's close. Buyer pays $2shipping + insurance / delivery confirmation fees, if desired - save w/combined
