World War II Submarine Badge of the "Deep Wave" with the H&H hallmark. This is considered the best design in deep wave and was used by VADM Charles Lookwood as an award in 10k gold those would become members of the "Roll of Honor." For more information see US Silent Service by David A. Jones. This reproduction is sterling with a 24k gold plate. IN 2004 the Captain of the USBN-737G Crew had us make these for him to award to his officers and chiefs with their ships designation engreaved on the back. As far as I know they were the only crew to wear deep wave for a number of years.
