You are bidding on a RARE Pre and during WWII Village Blacksmith USMC Heavy Duty Trench (Bolo) Knife. Size is: 13 1/2" long by 2 1/4" widest. The markings on the knife read USMC Village Blacksmith. In well used condition with plenty of handle wear some missing wood and blade use has taken its toll. Needs a good work over to bring it back. This is a stout piece of steel and will easily withstand some reworking. OR, leave it as is wondering whether the owner survived whatever it was used for.
