Officially nomenclatured as, Jacket, WAAC, Winter, Member's , this Woman's Army Corps wool service jacket is made by Saxton Clothes Co., Inc. in 1943. Worn by female enlisted personnel, this jacket was worn by a Medical Technician 3rd Grade (T/3) in the Army 4th Service Command at Ft. Oglethorpe, Georgia, is made in a size 14 Regular and measures 32" (81.3 cm) in the bust, 15 1/2" (39.3 cm) sleeve length and 29" (73.7 cm) overall length with a four button front, two false breast pockets, two slash lower pockets and flat cuffs. This jacket has enlisted U.S. and Medical disks on the collars, Tech 3 stripes on each sleeve and a 4th Service Command patch with a discharge badge (ruptured duck) over the right pocket and an Army Good Conduct ribbon over the left.
