Up for auction is a pair of WW1 Field Binoculars with Case and Instruction book. When my Uncle (by marriage) passed away in 1966 my Aunt gave his binoculars to me. He had been a cook during WW1, but I do not know how or when he acquired these. Since 1966 they have been in my possession and in dry indoor storage. I am not interested in WW 1 memorabilia so I am putting them up for auction so someone who is interested can add these to his/her collection. I have provided 10 pictures so their condition is visually well documented. The case has "HQ BTY. 105 F.A." stamped in two places. I believe this indicates field artillery. There are range finders visible when you look through the binoculars.
