A good condition, original WW1 American P17 bayonet made by Remington and dated 1918(scarce year). The pommel, crossguard and tang retain 80% original finish. The wood grips are in good condition showing only light bruising. The blade is in excellent condition. The steel mounted green leather scabbard is in fair to good condition. The scabbard mounts and the back of the seam have been black painted and it is complete with its 1939 Home Guard leather frog with all rivets and stitching intact. Sold as a collectable.
