Up for bid is a WW1 British P07 JAC Bayonet With Scabbard. The overall length of bayonet is 21 5/8". Blade measures 16 3/4" from tip to guard & includes a 12 7/8" blood groove. The blade is marked in tang area on one side with crown mark, 1907, JAC S Terni. Opposite side has various symbols / proof marks (see photos for best detail). Handle is a dark hardwood which includes the locking mechanism. Scabbard is a darkened leather with metal throat & tip. Scabbard also includes a canvas frog.Condition, Exceptions, Issues, Special Remarks:Blade has moderate signs of use with surface rust, stains, pitting. Blade, handle & guard are tight with no play. Handle has evidence of normal use with no objectionable issues found. Scabbard has signs of moderate to heavy use, but is still fully intact. Considering age & exceptions mentioned, I will rate the overall condition as "Good".
