WW1 1911 Colt caliber 45 auto barrel. Barrel is marked with the intertwined HP, and G G stamped on the bottom of barrel near lug. (see photos) This barrel would have been used sometime in the 1918 production run, in the serial number range from about 375,000 to 710,000. Lands and grooves are good with some roughness or frostiness due to use of corrosive ammunition. (see photos) A hard to find early barrel for your WW1 Colt 1911 45 auto.
