World War One workers badge for the Eddystone rifle plant. 1 1/4 inches across by 1 3/8 inches tall in size - Die struck in bronze and gilted (gold plated). Marked on the reverse side "GOVT. PROPERTY" and "RETURN TO WAR DEPARTMENT WASH. D.C.". Screwback with a threaded keeper. Eddystone was the maker of the Pattern 17 US Army rifle for WW1.
