WW1 era British Army Wolseley Pith Helmet. Worn leather edge strip shows that this is an officers helmet and therefore there are no WD or other date stamps. Has retained its shape and colour well. The pagri band is tight and well fitted. Has a good look and strong structural integrity. Size 6 7/8. Negatives are: Area of damage to cork at top rear although does not affect appearance. Green cotton lining showns significant wear.
