Here we have a very unique and high quality WW1 era German/Prussian/Bavarian tooled leather coin purse with a Lion/Griffin crest on it.. Purse was found at an old estate in Milwaukee Wisconsin.The Wallet is 3 1/8 inches long and while showing wear from usage, is in great condition with the leather still fairly soft. There is even the owners name embossed on the inside in gold.
