Up for auction is a very nice Worl War 1 German Steel Helmet. I bought this helmet several years ago on Ebay from reputable seller with 100 % positve feedback, so I believe that it is an original period helmet. The helmet is very clean with no rust. Size G62 which is marked on the inside. The M16 leather liner is in very good condition and is tight in the helmet. The liner pockets contains the horse hair pads. An excellent helmet, complete except t is no chinstrap. Nice color pattern of Olive green, brick red, purple and panels of the original grey/green from the helmet. I hate to get rid of it, but I have had change some priorities in these uncertain economic times. Because of this, the starting bid is so high. Email any questions. If additional pictures are requested I will try my best to accommodate. I am not the most computer savvy person and was only able to list 4 on Ebay.
