Great looking WW1 German Army helmet, model 1917. This is one that I picked up awhile ago. It had the liner band and the pins, but the leather was all gone and t was no chinstrap. I took it apart and rebuilt the liner with new leather pads from Great War Militaria, and put a repro chinstrap on it. The outside of the shell is an old but really nice gray green repaint, I would say period done. The inside is the original green. It is a size 62 and is marked as such. T are no pillows in the liner, but the tie strings are t and one could fill the pockets with folded cloth if desired. Overall a nice clean stahlhelm that has had a liner put in with the original hardware. Thank you for looking.
