WW1 Leather flying helmet/hat made by Alexander & Co. Edinburgh the helmet is in good condition for it's age, all the studs work fine and the strap works fine the leather is nice and supple, staining etc to the silk liner. It has been stored in a trunk with loads of other militaria items so it smells!!, I've not tried to clean it but I think the leather will come up a treat. Makers label and size 7 1/4 This would make a very nice show piece
