World War 1. Medal Set (Trio) comprising of 1914 - 1918 VICTORY MEDAL + BRITISH WAR MEDAL + 1915 STAR MEDAL awarded to: Pioneer, TOMMY LEE, 120004 ROYAL ENGINEERS Offered for sale is the genuine, original (Full Sized & Named) World War 1. Trio Medal Set with Ribbons awarded to 120004, Pioneer, TOMMY LEE, who initially served with the British Army's ROYAL ENGINEERS, in France, during World War 1. However, in the Spring of 1917, Pioneer, TOMMY LEE was injured during a chlorine gas attack by the Germans and was subsequently returned to England to recover. Following his subsequent recovery, Pioneer, TOMMY LEE, returned to active service, with the British Army's LABOUR CORPS (SOUTHERN COMMAND) based in Plymouth, England. Also, included in this impressive collection, is a copy of the War Office's Medal Index Card, confirming Pioneer, TOMMY LEE's service record in France during World War 1. and his medal entitlement, plus TOMMY LEE's British Army ROYAL ENGINEERS military cap badge.
