Frameable tipped-in plate on olive green card from an 1915 issue of the French Illustrated newspaper, L'Illustration. L'Illustration was perhaps the foremost French weekly illustrated for the latter part of the nineteenth and early part of the twentieth century. Printed on quality paper. Normally there will be another article, drawing or photograph to back. Unless a supplement in which case the backs are likely to be clean. Obviously any text, including the captions to prints will be in French. L'Illustration was a French language newspaper. Condition is very good . Plate measures approx 30cm x 21.5cm Postage Policy: Buy one print/page/advert and all further items that you purchase in the same session will be free of additional P&P charges.
