This is a WW1 US Remington Bayonet. This is as nice as they come,it is a beauty.. No excuses for this bayonet,very nice blade,no rust or pitting anywhere. Perfect wood grips and the identifying markings are perfect.. This knife is stamped on the ricasso...US Proof marks..Ordance Bomb...22..US..Crossed Arms..the other side reads..1917...Remington..This is a big bayonet measuring 21.5/8 inches with the blade at 17 inches ..This has the correct leather bound scabbard which is in great condition,the only fault is the leather hanger is gone...This is truly one for a collection....
