A beautiful and rare ww1 solid 15ct gold and enamel sweetheart brooch. This one is for the Royal flying corps which was the precursor to the RAF. So this brooch is i think pre 1917. In 15ct gold it was probably extremely expensive at the time. Red white and blue in colour a small amount of enamel loss as can be seen in the picture but otherwise in superb conditon. Stamped 15ct gold to the rear. Weighs approx 5 grammes. Due to a few questions and the fact we forgot to add it to the listing. The length of the brooch is about 5.7cms
