~ WW1 Royal Flying Corps Casualty 4-Pocket Tunic ~ This named tunic features regulation four pocket construction with brass regimental buttons. It is named to Lt A.E. Watts RFC who is commemorated at the Arras Flying Services Memorial. Lt Watts was shot down whilst flying as observer in BE2d No 5856 with 2nd Lt G M Underwood (also KIA) on 8th March 1917. They were on photographic patrol and crashed at 11.35am near Givenchy. They were shot down by Ltn Kurt Wolff, Jasta 11, who went on to claim 33 victories this being the first ~ Condition ~ Good condition WW1 tunic with some slight mothing.
