WW1 Trench Art - lot of five incomplete "porte-plumes" (pen & pencil holders). Great War Trench Art "porte-plumes" (pen & pencil holders) were used as personal writing items in battlefield conditions, and were often engraved. These oddments are all incomplete (i.e. missing their pen holders/ink nib & pencil holders/pencil) and are not engraved. The expanded photo of the five items shows what-pulls-out (one bullet is corroded into its casing so can't be removed - by me, anyway !) Lot might be useful to someone for "parts" (?) Sorry - no International bids due to Customs controls on munitions etc.
