This is a very nicely worn WW1 era wrist watch. It is engraved on the back with H.T.G. in script and would says it's the owners initials. The dial and hands are in original mint condition and says Lonia on the dial. T are no cracks or hairline on the dial and all the paint on the numbers and hands are original. The thick glass crystal is also mint. The case is in very good condition with age patina. The movement and case are both marked F.A. Hirsch & Co. Swiss. The movement also says 12 jewels, 1 adjustment and Pat. Sept. 27, 1900 on the winding wheel. This watch has been cleaned and oiled and is running great. The leather band is not original but used and is still in good condition. It must be one of the first wrist watches and not a converted pocket watch. The case is 35mm round and the wire lugs are 11mm. A very fine watch from the early 1900's in working condition and offered to you with NO RESERVE!!
