Greetings. You are bidding on an M1905/42 US 16 inch bayonet as used by the US forces during WW2. This bayonet is in excellent condition and was made in 1918 by Springfield Armory for WW1 but never went into service. It was updated for WW2 by replacing the original wood handle stocks and rawhide scabbard for the plastic ones developed during WW2. I do believe the blue/black finish on the blade is the original SA applied finish from 1918. Blade finish is @ 90-95% with some scabbard wear near the tip. No sharpening was ever done to this bayonet. 2 1/2 lb. weight includes shipping materials. US & CANADIAN BIDDERS ONLY PLEASE!!!! TERMS & CONDITIONS - PLEASE READ!!
