PLEASE NOTE THIS IS NOT AN INERT WEAPON, IT HAS NEVER HAD ANY EXPLOSIVE CONTENT, IT IS SIMPLY A TRAINING PIECE. Hi this is my WW1 WW2 (not sure which) Mills training grenade. It is a cutaway piece that shows the various components of a grenade, the explosive chamber, the fuse housing etc. The original paint is still there. Whether this is the whole thing I do not know , ie the screw in base plug is not there, the plug at the top is not there, neither is the pin and arm. This is how I bought it in the 70s. It was bought from a second hand shop in Lancashire for pocket money. It is a very interesting relic Please see my otheritems as I am selling an entire collection!
