Original issue WW1 French horizon blue overcoat. Overcoat is nice condition with many regimental stamps. Clothing depot stamp is dated 1920 but it exact overcoat from WW1. Overcoat seems to have been shortened probably by soldier it was issued to but the turn backs have the button cut out so it can be buttoned back like you see in all the period photos. Has a mixture of brass dome and French artillery buttons. 2 or 3 have broken off with the shanks still attached. Has seen much service with stains and wear but remains in very nice shape. Collar has regimental tabs which could be artillery, not sure. Horizon blue overcoats have become very scarce and when available are reaching the $800 level. Since this one is dated 1920 it will definitely fill the hole in your collection or serve as a resaonably priced one if you do not want to spend the $800 for a WW1 dated one.
