This 1935 German bayonet was made by rare and desirable company MUNDLOS and displays very nicely despite being damaged. The blade tang underneath the flashguard has been cracked, please see the photos for details. While this damage cannot be overlooked, it does not detract from the bayonet’s function or appearance. Early “droop wing” Waffenamts can be found in the expected places, including on the inside of the walnut grips. Almost all of the original bluing has been worn off but the blade has not been sharpened and retains a strong point for it’s age. This would be a nice addition to any bayonet or WW2 collection!
