Offered is this US ARMY USMC WWII 1943 WT GARAND 16" Bayonet with Scabbard made by WILDE DROP FORGE & TOOL. IN GREAT CONDITION . Blade is 16" in length while overall the bayonet is 22' in length. Blade looks unused, original finish. Full size long blade, Uncut. Some people call this symbol mark "FLAMING BALL" on this knife and sheath. But research calls it:" The Shell and Flame is considered the oldest branch insignia in the U.S. Army. The use of the Shell and Flame by the Ordnance Branch dates back to 1832." Great example of a sparsely available WW II bayonet. Please look at my photographs for actual item and condition.
