World War Two United States Army Air Force pilot's wing. Early, large shield type. Die struck in sterling silver. Three inches across in size. Maker marked on the reverse side "LGB" for the L.G. Balfour Company of Attleboro, Massachusetts, also marked "STERLING". Pinback with a proper cammed 90 degree stop pin and a roll locking pin catch.
