The two items are attached to the cardboard by thread so t is no damage to the chits. They were in a frame at one time but it was falling apart. Written by the vet on the poster board is "Lent by 1st Leiut. Feimlle, fighter pilot, (flying over the hump). This must have been displayed at a VFW of other military type organization. the chit with the American flag is 10x10". The # stamped in the middle is 21063 in the lower right it has (3). The languages are Burmese, chinese, sgaw karen,s. shan, w. shan. The chit with the Nat. chinese flag is 8x10" and has a # W 65052 and a red stamp, it also has a (1) in the lower right corner. I did not break this down any further because of the wriiting on the back board. This would display great in a frame with the piece with the writing cut out and framed as well. T is an uneven fold mark down the center of the large chit and a even fold mark across the center of the small one. I am sure the name could be reasearched as well, given his name and rank and flight status. It was my intention to do all i just explained but I am seling off my collection. Check out my other items in the next couple of days and weeks.
