The reversible winter parka was developed after the bitter experience of the winter fighting in Russia during 1941 and 1942. It was produced in various camouflage exterior that was reversible to white, the design was suchthat the parka fitted over the service uniform and personal equipment, with ammunition carried in the pockets for quick access.Our second edition of the Autumn Oak B camo reversible winter parka is featured with more accurate details of the originals, it was cut in double-breasted fashionfor maximum wind protection and was secured by metal pebbled buttons painted in both white and feldgrauA draw strap was sewn into the waist, and a drawstring was placed in the parka hem to increase protection. An attached hood with drawstring provide immediate head protection. The sleeves were cut long for warmthand coverage. Some aluminum buttons were added on the sleeves to place the identify band.
