In good condition, except for some rust areas at the pommel and scratches and scrapes near the tip of the blade, it is a WW2 vintage German Fireman's dress bayonet/dagger carried in parades, etc. by German Firemen in WW2. Original metal scabbard has surface rust, no dents, typical leather frog shows age and cracking but is still strong. Logo on tang indicates "ROBERT KLAAS/SOLINGEN" and two cranes beak to beak, KISSING CRANE. Measures 14 5/16" overall with a 9 5/8" bright plated blade.
