Hand Painted Artwork with quality enamel and acrylic paints on aircraft quality aluminum sheet , this is a reproduction/replica WW2 aviation Insignia Art panel of the famous B-17 Flying Fortress Bomber the "Memphis Belle". This bomber, of the 324th BS, 8th AF, a B-17F-10-BO, USAAC Serial No. 41-24485, was famous for completing 25 successful bombing missions; it's last and final mission was on 17 May 1943. The artwork is painted on thin gauge aircraft quality aluminum sheet metal with colors that are true to the period. The panel is HEAVILY DISTRESSED and is absolutely gorgeous! This is one of my signature pieces in very high demand. This one looks like it actually came right off the "Belle" complete with grease marks, chips, dings, dents, peeling paint, and authentic battle scarring looking like it came back from it's last and final bombing run. The panel measures a large 18" X 36" and will fit comfortably on any aviation enthusiast's wall to proudly display. Contact me with questions or if you have a custom panel you'd like me to do. My prices are very reasonable for what you get! I will ship international - please inquire first. !
