This is a auction for an authentic WW2 era fired 30cal? not sure, The item apparently hit and is mangled, some barrel rifling is seen. The item was recovered off the remnants of a P40 plane wreck (Lt. Bishop's ) which was shot down during the attack on Pearl Harbor. The wreck is located near bellows air force base in Oahu hawaii. One of the photos is of some additional information on the wreck provided from the original crash report. (Page 2 paragraph 1) Other photos are of the actual site where they were recovered. The original crash report files and photos can be sent to the winning bidder through e-mail if they so desire. The artifact was found using an underwater metal detector in 12-15' of water. Don't know if it is Japanese or American or if it was fired by land or air but they apparently hit something. Any questions or concerns please ask before bidding.
