This bid is for a genuine WW2 RAF Bubble Sextant Planishere Mk.1X BM dated 1941 complete with its original aircraft wooden mounting case. This rare model of sextant has the duplex eye lens and comes complete with instructions (for the Mk. IXA); plug adaptor 12/24 volt complete with cable and 2 pin plug; 2 spare battery holders and is marked AM Ref. 6B/313 – Serial No. 6810/41. The mirror on this sextant is in very good condition with no ‘black spots’ or damage and the overall condition of both the sextant and case can only be described as very good. This is a very rare piece of WW2 Royal Air Force Bomber Command history and a must for any serious collector. Please be aware that this is a very heavy item weighing 6kg, so if you have any questions about shipping/postage costs, please ask before bidding. THIS WILL BE EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE TO SHIP OVERSEAS. Buyer to pay post & packing. For UK payments I accept standard issued cheques from any UK bank or cash in £ sterling. For International payments I prefer payment by PayPal but I will accept cash payments in US dollar or Euro. Thank you for looking.
