RARE WW2 (1942) RAF MK.4 BROAD ARROW JAEGER LECOULTRE 8 DAYS MILITARY AIRCRAFT COCKPIT CLOCK Up for sale is a rare and collectible Royal Air Force (RAF) MK.IV Jaeger LeCoultre 8 Days military aircraft clock. This watch has been manufactured around 1942. The movement, is in great working condition, keeping good time, and has a winding and setting mechanism through the crown at 12:00.The watch is preserved in excellent collectible condition and it's fully original. The watch comes with the military original aluminum green painted mounting, which is really a bonus.The 100% Original radium luminous Arabic black aviation dial features the "8 Days" and "MK.IV" lettering just above and beyong the center. The dial is fitted with original luminous hands set and large center seconds hand . The dial and hands are in original condition and they have never been refinished. The seconds hand is a later addition but fits excellent to the watch. This example has one of the most collectible MK.4 black dials; with a rather pedantic design, popular during war times, showing only the essential. Needless to say the Jaeger MK.4 cockpit clocks are quite rare, especially with a crown mounting at 12.The flat mineral crystal is in excellent condition.
