A good original WW2 RAF Lancaster Photo.This is an Official photo which shows the "new" Bomber.It is a genuine 1942 wartime photo which measures approx 14 x 8 1/2 inches.The frame is obviously bigger...Original details on the reverse plus later details giving this Lancaster as Crashing in Sept 1942 and burning returning from an "Op" The Air Gunner was killed..It had flown 130 hours since coming off the production line in June of the same year.Both port engines failed and it crashed at Thurlby Lincolnshire.It was based with 50 Squadron at Swinderby...Rare photo. ..
