This is a very rare original WWI US Aero Squadron Tunic from the 13th Aero Aerial Squadron First Army known as "The Devils Own Grim Reapers" The colorful patch located on the left shoulder of the tunic is in excellent condition. T is a small opening above the skeleton's head, but I am not sure if it is a hole or it should be t I can't seem to find another patch like this one to compare it to. This is the first patch of the squadron, and a rare one. The felt on the patch is very old, but as you can see by the pictures the colors are vivid, clear and the patch is excellent as mentioned. Even the red stitching is strong. This item is from an old military collection. This tunic was worn by Sergeant Frank L. Yoran, 13th Aerial Squadron, First Army. Mr. Yoran was a Chauffer as the patch on the right arm shows. The service from this Squadron and Mr. Yoran's is service can be researched on the web as t is plenty of history for this outfit. It is nice to have the accompanying personal history to go with the item. It makes the item personal when a name can be matched read more
